2. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When pages are requested, the host processes technically necessary access data in server log files, in particular IP address, date and time, the requested address and details of the browser used.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement is in place with the host.

3. Your questions

When you ask the cube a question, we store:

• the text of your question,
• the language of the page,
• the answer the cube drew,
• the date and time.

We store no IP address, no name and no other identifier with your question, so a stored question cannot be traced back to you. Please do not type names, health details or other personal information into your question.

We use the stored questions to count how often the cube is asked, to show the total on the page and to improve the answers. Only the operator can read them, in a password-protected view. We do not pass them on to anyone.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is operating and improving this service.

Questions are deleted automatically 12 months after they were asked.

4. Storage in your browser

The website stores your chosen language, light or dark mode and whether sound is on in your browser’s local storage. This is strictly necessary for the functions you use and therefore needs no consent (Art. 5 (3) of Directive 2002/58/EC). The website sets no cookies. You can delete this data at any time in your browser settings.

5. Protection against abuse

To prevent abuse we limit how many questions can be asked from one connection per minute. For this we store a non-reversible hash of the IP address for no longer than one hour (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

6. Fonts and external content

Fonts and all other files are loaded from our own server. We use no analytics or tracking services and load no content from third-party servers.

When you share an answer, the image is created in your browser and nothing is sent to us. It only leaves your device if you share it yourself, for example through WhatsApp; that service’s own rules then apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing that is based on legitimate interests.

Because a stored question carries no identifier, we can only find a single question if you tell us its exact wording and the approximate time you asked it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live or the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg), which is responsible for us.
